Care worker loaded her shopping bags onto a disabled pensioner in a wheelchair

The support worker who stacked her shopping bags on to a wheelchair bound man as she smoothly smoked a cigarette and talked on her telephone has been uncovered as a mother-of-one.

A shocking picture of the Mencap worker brought about shock on online networking in the wake of being posted on the learning disability charity's Facebook page yesterday.

She has since been identified as 25-year-old Emma Price from Market Harborough.

The mother-of one was imagined inclining toward an entryway as the disabled man in his 70s was envisioned alongside her, stuck underneath a heap of TK Maxx and Next shopping sacks.
The charity made quick move, instantly suspending the worker and consoling supporters it was considering the picture critical.

The picture, taken in Leicester, was joined by the inscription: 'One of your staff in the Leicestershire area smoking whilst on the phone in Leicester shoving all of her shopping bags on top of him with no care in the world.'
