David Cameron stands down as Prime Minister hours after EU referendum delivered clear backing for Brexit.

UK Prime Minister, David Cameron has announced his resignation as Prime Minister after the historic EU referendum delivered clear backing for Brexit.
The Prime Minister said he accepted the verdict of the 'great democratic exercise' which saw the Leave campaign triumph after stacking up 52 per cent of the votes - despite massive support for Remain in Scotland and major cities including London.
Mr Cameron said he had been 'proud' to serve as PM for the past six years but he said it would not be right for him to be the 'captain of the ship' while the UK negotiated its exit from the EU.

'I held nothing back. I was absolutely clear about my belief that Britain is stronger, safer and better off inside the EU,' he said.
‘And I made clear the referendum was about this and this alone – not the future of any single politician including myself.
‘But the British people have made a very clear decision to take a different path and as such I think the country requires fresh leadership to take it in this direction.’
Choking back tears, Mr Cameron - who led the Tories to a shock majority in the general election barely a year ago - said he would not depart immediately and would seek to 'steady the ship' and calm the financial markets over the coming 'weeks and months'.
But he said a new Prime Minister should be in place for the Conservative Party conference at the beginning of October.

Nigerian Comedian, Basketmouth writes on issues in Nigeria

He shared the message below on his Instagram page: As I am learning to stop complaining and get used to the electricity situation in my beloved Nigeria, i can't help but worry about other bigger problems facing my country at large. Once again a land already polluted with blood and oil is reported to be witnessing beheading by religious fanatics, murders by herdsmen, and bombing of oil pipelines by a supposedly impoverished and marginalised deltan posse, let's not talk about the Biafran agitators, kidnapping and robberies....confusion everywhere. I am an entertainer so i try to leave politics for politicians(cos i believe everybody should maintain dia own lane). However, I cant seem to understand why my beloved country will not intervene to help alleviate the sufferings and helplessness of its people. When the poor cry for help and are ignored, it can be a recipe for turmoil and when the rich also cry, can't afford to travel because flight tickets are out of their r

Andre 3000 shares photo of himself with his teen son

Seven Sirius Benjamin is the son of Outcast member Andre 3000 and First Son Erykah Badu. He was born in 1997. His parents dated between 1995 to 1999.  Badu’s story of meeting André is slightly muddled. “It was 1997,” she said during a Red Bull Music Academy talk in 2013. “My single came out Februrary 7th—‘On and On.’ I heard it in New York in a club and met André that night. No, that’s a year before. Let me back up. Two years earlier I met André at the club and they played the song ‘On and On.’ Two years later, Februrary 7th, ‘On and On’ came out on the radio. February 11th, I got pregnant.”
