Beat FM CEO Chris Ubosi sues Rihanna and Jay Z over canceled concerts in Nigeria

Rihanna and Jay Z have reportedly been sued over a 2013 Nigeria concert that never took place, TMZ reports. The CEO of Beats FM struck a deal with two people who claimed to be representatives of Roc Nation. The deal stated that Rihanna will get $254,000 to perform  for 65 minutes. 
Ubosi said Rihanna's reps asked to postpone the show, but since a rescheduled date was never advertised by Rihanna, the Lagos-based company allegedly cancelled the performance and asked for its money back. Since the money was never returned, Ubosi is suing Rihanna, her label Roc Nation, and label head Jay Z. 
Sources close to Rihanna claim that Ubosi is the victim of a “scam,” that the singer was never paid for the performance, and that her management didn't know about the scheduled May 2013 performance.

Troy Ave arrested after deadly shooting at T.I. concert at Irving Plaza

Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave has been arrested in connection with a deadly Wednesday night shooting at T.I.'s concert at Irving Plaza, reports the New York Daily News.  Roland Collins (aka Troy Ave) of Brownsville accidentally shot himself in the leg during the chaos Wednesday night, sources said. Collins was charged with attempted murder and illegal weapons possession. Beyonce Earns Sixth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'Lemonade'

Beyonce’s Lemonade album charges in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving the superstar her sixth chart-topper. The set earned 653,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 28, according to Nielsen Music. Pure album sales comprised 485,000 of that sum. All six of Beyonce’s studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lemonade follows her self-titled album in 2013, 4 (2011), I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008), B’Day (2006) and Dangerously In Love (2003). Beyonce is the only act to reach No. 1 with their first six studio efforts (and the only act to debut atop the list with their first six)
