Oscar Pistorius gets SIX YEARS for killing Reeva Steenkamp

Oscar Pistorius has been handed a six year jail term today for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp three years ago.
Pistorius was freed from prison in the South African capital Pretoria last October after serving one year of a five-year term for culpable homicide - the equivalent of manslaughter.

But an appeals court upgraded the conviction to murder, which has a mandatory sentence of 15 years.

But Judge Thokozile Masipa said this morning that she had taken into consideration mitigating factors and the athlete would receive less than the usual minimum jail term. He was taken to prison immediately following the lengthy hearing.

Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave has been arrested in connection with a deadly Wednesday night shooting at T.I.'s concert at Irving Plaza, reports the New York Daily News. Beyonce’s Lemonade album charges in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving the superstar her sixth chart-topper. The set earned 653,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 28, according to Nielsen Music. Pure album sales comprised 485,000 of that sum. All six of Beyonce’s studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lemonade follows her self-titled album in 2013, 4 (2011), I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008), B’Day (2006) and Dangerously In Love (2003). Father beats son to bloody pulp in a boxing match for missing school

This father certainly pushes the boundaries in proper parenting as he beat his son bloody for cutting class. A video posted to Facebook shows the father challenging his teenage son to a fight after learning that the lad walked out of lessons without telling him.
