Within this post, we'll look at the way to generate income on YouTube, what you will want to do to get started earning money on YouTube, then talk about what income you can actually make with your YouTube videos.

By becoming a YouTube partner is the way to earn money on YouTube. Becoming a YouTube partner enables your account for monetization. Once you have a video approved, then you can start earning as a YouTube partner. In your approved video, ads will be displayed near or in your video. When the ads are clicked, then you receive a percentage of the revenue for those ads, that is how to generate income on YouTube.

The Basic Steps on How To Earn Money on YouTube

1. Build Your Audience on YouTube

When your application is being evaluated by YouTube, they notice your audience. It's a good idea to have at least 1,000 views for all of your videos, at the very least 1,000 subscribers, and at minimum 10,000 views to your channel. Go for higher numbers than these if you really want to ensure that your approved.

2. Upload New Videos Regularly

You have a much greater chance of being approved the more videos you have. If you upload a new video everyday you have a much better chance than if you only have a couple videos uploaded or upload just once every 2 weeks.

Before applying to become a YouTube partner, having at least 100 videos uploaded is a good amount. You can have less, but you will have a much higher chance of being accepted with over 100.

3. Be Sure All of Your Videos are Original

You can not have any copyrighted material in your videos; your application will most definitely get rejected for this. This means any copied images, logos, video clips, graphics, logos, or audio are not allowed. This includes background songs and music. Permission is needed for any material used in your videos which is not your very own original content.

4. Setup an AdSense Account

For keeping track of your earnings and statistics, this is essential.

5. Submit Your YouTube Partner Application

Once you've done these steps, you can go forward and apply to be a YouTube partner. Consider that it could take a while to have your application viewed because they are handling a number of applications. But you'll be able to display ads on your videos as soon as you're accepted.
