Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave has been arrested in connection with a deadly Wednesday night shooting at T.I.'s concert at Irving Plaza, reports the New York Daily News.  Roland Collins (aka Troy Ave) of Brownsville accidentally shot himself in the leg during the chaos Wednesday night, sources said. Collins was charged with attempted murder and illegal weapons possession. Sources said he’s expected to face a murder charge pending the results of a ballistics test.  Ronald McPhatter, who worked as a bodyguard for the rapper Troy Ave, died in the shooting

Baltimore police Officer Edward Nero was found not guilty of all charges Monday in connection with the death of Freddie Gray, Judge Barry Williams ruled Monday after a bench trial. Judge Barry Williams, who heard the case in a bench trial, handed down the verdict in Baltimore City Circuit Court. Nero, 30, had faced misdemeanor charges of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of misconduct in office.  Nero is among six officers charged in Gray's death. The trial of the first officer to be tried, William Porter, ended in a hung jury in December.

According to a federal bankruptcy judge, 50 cent is worth $20 million and his debts are over "32.6 million. He also owes $18.1 million to Sunburst Bank and Sleek Audio LLC over a failed headphones venture; $4 million to mortgage lender SunTrust Banks Inc. STI, -0.44%  ; and $1.2 million to ASCAP for advance payments on song royalties. All told, his debts total $32.6 million. Under the plan approved Wednesday by a judge in Hartford, Connecticut, 50 Cent will repay between 74% and 92% of his debts over the next five years. A lady that goes by the name ujustella is  making some serious accusations against Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy. She said Burna Boy got her pregnant and has been trying to get her to go for an abortion. She shared a photo of her door and said Burna Boy broke through it and that she was going to the police to report him.  So far Burna boy has been quiet. Maybe it's true. Time will tell. 

Wendell Pierce for his role in the TV hit series 'The wire' was arrested Saturday after allegedly physically assaulting a woman supporting Bernie Sanders. According to reports, the actor struck up a conversation with a woman and her boyfriend at the Loews hotel in Atlanta around 3:30 AM.  The talk turned political and Wendell who happens to be a big Hillary Clinton supporter got upset when the woman declared her support for Bernie. The girl and her boyfriend went to their room and called hotel security, who then called cops. Pierce was arrested and booked for battery.  He posted $1,000 bond and was released.

The president of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni has been sworn in for the 5th term in office.  Museveni became the president in 1986 and he has stayed in power ever since. 

Her name is Anaya Ellick from Chesapeake, Virgina. The Seven-year-old has beaten 50 other children from around the United States to win first place in a national handwriting contest - unhindered by having been born without hands.  Anaya was entered into the contest by Tracy Cox,  the head teacher of the school she goes to.  "There is truly very little that this girl cannot do," Tracy told ABC News. "She is a hard worker. She is determined. She is independent. She is a vivacious and a no-excuses type of young lady." Rather than using prostheses, Anaya holds her pen between her forearms - and has demonstrably excellent control over her writing.

Laremy Tunsil is now officially signed to the Miami Dolphins on a four-year contract. He was once projected as a potential No. 1 overall selection, Tunsil fell to the Dolphins after an online video, posted to his Twitter account minutes before the draft started, appeared to show the former Ole Miss offensive lineman smoking from a bong through a gas mask (See pics below). Tunsil was drafted 13th by the Miami Dolphins, far further down the list than had been expected prior to the controversy.
